Mike Ditka Farted On Live TV One Year Ago; Celebrate Anniversary Of Wind That Blows

The wind Mike Ditka set into motion a year ago might still blow to this day.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer farted on Oct. 19, 2015 during a live broadcast of ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown.” Ditka’s fart cringed the faces of his colleagues and sent the Internet into a frenzy.

Ditka subsequently denied breaking wind, but that’s no reason we can’t celebrate the first anniversary of the so-called “fart heard round the football nation.”

Ditka authored his football legend as a player and coach with the Chicago Bears. Apparently, he took that “Windy City” thing to heart, soul and stomach.
