NESN Announces 2016 Red Sox Postseason Coverage Plans

October 5, 2016 — NESN, the official home of the Boston Red Sox, will deliver comprehensive Red Sox post-season coverage with one-hour pre- and post-game shows before and after every playoff game. The regional network will also expand coverage on the network’s three sports news programs, NESN LIVE, NESN Sports Today and NESN Sports Update, which combined air up to 8 hours per day. NESN’s post-season coverage will be available to 4 million homes throughout New England and nationally on NESN National to an additional 5 million homes.

NESN.com, one of the top 15 most visited sports websites in the country, will deliver enhanced coverage with live blogs for every post-season game and daily video commentary and reaction from the popular website’s online hosts and contributors.

Red Sox studio host Tom Caron (@TomCaron) will be joined by analysts Jerry Remy (@Jerry_Remy), Hall of Famer Jim Rice, and Steve Lyons during the ALDS. Guerin Austin (@GuerinAustin) and Adam Pellerin (@AdamPellerin) will report from the ballpark interviewing players and coaches before and after every game. NESN’s pre- and post-game coverage for Red Sox home games will originate from the network’s Yawkey Way stage.
