Odell Beckham Jr.is having a bad week. And it’s only Tuesday.

The Giants star wide receiver had one of the worst performances of his career Monday night in New York’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but that was just the beginning of his issues.

He also was flagged for taunting after getting in a verbal clash with Xavier Rhodes. And he could have been flagged even more as the two kept at it throughout the game. To be fair, Rhodes knocked Beckham out of bounds a few plays earlier on a late hit that wasn’t called, but Beckham still lost his cool, which is something he’s getting a reputation for in the NFL.

And it appears to be taking a toll on Beckham.

“Football is my sanctuary,” Beckham told ESPN’s Anita Marks on Tuesday. “It’s where I go to escape. It’s where I’m most happy. I’m not having fun anymore.”

Furthermore, Backham told Marks that he believes his feud with former Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman last year has “tarnished” his image, and that the media won’t let go of it.

But that wasn’t the only think Beckham voiced displeasure about.

“What I’m communicating, we’re not doing,” he told Marks about his lack of involvement in the offense. “I’m not getting the opportunities to contribute, and that’s frustrating to me.”
