The Golden State Warriors are taking the idea of an NBA “superteam” to a whole new level, and the rest of the league isn’t too happy about it.

Paul Pierce was the latest to sound off about Kevin Durant’s decision to sign with the Warriors this offseason, making them the clear favorites to win the 2017 NBA title after posting an NBA-record 73 wins last season. Those comments didn’t sit well with Golden State’s Draymond Green, who fired back at Pierce on Thursday.

Their bickering got us thinking: Can the Warriors be the best superteam of all time, or would a team like Pierce’s 2007-08 Boston Celtics give them a run for their money?

That Celtics team, after all, went 66-16 and won a championship behind the original “Big Three” in Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. It also had an unmistakable chemistry that might be difficult for Golden State to find in its first season with Durant.

But we’ll let you decide: Which is the better superteam, the 2016-17 Warriors or the 2007-08 Celtics? Cast your vote in the poll below.
