Randy Moss Shows Up Cardinals, Seahawks By Drilling Field Goals They Couldn’t

Being an NFL kicker isn’t easy. Or so we thought.

Fans got a first-hand look at the perils of bad kicking during an absolute stinker on “Sunday Night Football,” which saw the Arizona Cardinals’ Chandler Catanzaro and the Seattle Seahawks’ Steven Hauschka both miss kicks of under 30 yards during overtime in an eventual tie.

So, one day later, ESPN analyst and former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss decided to find out for himself just how hard this kicking thing is. He didn’t disappoint.

Moss casually drilled a pair of 28-yard field goals while dressed to the nines ahead of the Denver Broncos’ game against the Houston Texans. Any interest in hiring a new kicker, Cardinals and Seahawks?

Of course, booting a field goal with no one else on the field is a lot different than trying to hit a game-winning field goal with Bobby Wagner flying at your face in front of 60,000 screaming fans.

Then again, NFL kickers shouldn’t miss short kicks, period. And Moss did say recently he’s having a tough time accepting retirement, so maybe we’ll see the legendary wideout try his hand foot at a second career.
