BOSTON — Sunday’s Game 3 at Fenway Park has been postponed. The Red Sox and Indians now will continue their American League Division Series on Monday night, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:08 p.m. ET.

Clay Buchholz will remain Boston’s Game 3 starter, according to Red Sox manager John Farrell. Josh Tomlin likely will remain Cleveland’s Game 3 starter, according to Indians manager Terry Francona.

Fans with tickets to Game 3 can use them Monday night at Fenway Park. Game 4 will take place Tuesday, although a start time for that contest has not yet been announced.

1:11 p.m.: The Boston Red Sox are trying to force more American League Division Series games against the Cleveland Indians after falling to 0-2 in Games 1 and 2, but they might have to wait.

Game 3 is set for Sunday at 4:08 p.m. ET, but rain is falling steadily at Fenway Park, and the forecast doesn’t look good. Pregame batting practice already was canceled, and officials were set to reconvene about the weather at 1 p.m.

If Sunday’s game is canceled, the Red Sox and Indians will play Game 3 on Monday and skip their travel day Tuesday to play Game 4 if necessary. They’d play Game 5 as scheduled Wednesday in Cleveland, if the Sox are able to take the next two games.
