Scottie Pippen’s marriage is coming to an end.
The Hall of Famer and former Chicago Bulls star has filed for divorce from his wife and former “Real Housewives of Miami” star Larsa Pippen, who since has confirmed the news to TMZ Sports through one of her representatives.
“After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage,” the statement said, via TMZ Sports. “Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their four beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect.”
“She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family.”
This decision comes after police were called to the couple’s residence on Oct. 2 and 4 for two different domestic disturbances, according to TMZ Sports.
Rumors started to swirl that the recent issues stemmed from Larsa’s relationship with rapper Future, but sources close to Larsa told TMZ Sports that wasn’t the reason for the divorce. Furthermore, the sources said the two are close but not in a romantic way.
