The Boston Celtics rallied Thursday night to cut down the Brooklyn Nets 100-97 at Barclays Center.

Six Celtics finished with double-digit point totals, offering a glimpse of Boston’s depth as the regular season nears, but the most encouraging aspect of the win might have been the performance of rookie Jaylen Brown, who could find himself logging a decent chunk of minutes in his first NBA campaign.

Brown, the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, was involved in a couple of highlight-reel plays in Thursday’s victory, including an alley-oop dunk off a pass from Marcus Smart.

Brown’s biggest play came in the final minute with the Celtics trailing 97-96. The 19-year-old delivered a nifty behind-the-back pass to Jordan Mickey, who threw down a one-handed dunk to put Boston in front.

Brown finished with 10 points, three assists, two rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes. He also drained all four of his free-throw attempts down the stretch in an effort that should excite Celtics fans.
