It’s only been two games, but the Boston Celtics haven’t looked like a team poised to compete for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference so far.
The Celtics opened the campaign by barely hanging on to beat the lowly Brooklyn Nets, and then an unispired effort in the first half Thursday proved to be too much to overcome in a road loss to the Chicago Bulls. And perhaps the most troubling part of all has been the defense, or lack thereof.
But, as we mentioned, it’s only been two games. And the C’s can get right back on track Saturday night at Time Warner Cable Arena against the 2-0 Charlotte Hornets.
