The Chicago Cubs survived their first postseason test in the San Francisco Giants, but their road doesn’t get any easier in the National League Championship Series.
Sure, Madison Bumgarner doesn’t stand in the way of the Cubs winning their first World Series since 1908 any more, but Clayton Kershaw and the ultra-talented Los Angeles Dodgers are no joke, either.
Because of the amount of pitching Kershaw did in the NL Division Series, though, Kenta Maeda will get the start for the Dodgers in Game 1 at Wrigley Field opposite Jon Lester.
