Watch Greg Hardy Get Knocked Around In Boxing Match With Some Short Guy

Former NFL defensive end Greg Hardy recently announced that he plans to pursue a career in mixed martial arts, and if history accounts for anything, he could use some serious work.

Way back in 2008, Hardy lost a boxing match to Codie Sheffield who, while much smaller and softer than Hardy, had competed in the U-18 Kickboxing World Championships. The match was caught on video and since has been reintroduced to the world.

Given Hardy’s violent history, it’s a bit surprising this match ended as peacefully as it did. Hardy still is just 28 years old, but he hasn’t been able to find work in the NFL since the Dallas Cowboys opted to not bring him back after last season.

UFC president Dana White has said he’d be open to signing Hardy, but only if he gained more experience. That shouldn’t be too difficult, considering Hardy doesn’t have any MMA experience at all — though someone would have to be brave enough to teach him.
