Tottenham Hotspur faces one of the biggest tests of its UEFA Champions League voyage.
Tottenham will visit Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday at BayArena in a Champions League Group E game. Tottenham can demonstrate its ability to compete on multiple fronts as it attempts to progress in Europe and challenge for this season’s Premier League title.
The game also marks a homecoming for forward Heung-Min Son, whom Tottenham bought from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 for around $27 million. Son is in good form, having won the Premier League’s Player of the Month Award in September. Bayer Leverkusen hopes he left his growing powers back in England ahead of this crunch Champions League game.
