Lyon is banking on home cooking and Alexandre Lacazette’s return from injury to help end its slump.
The French club will host Juventus on Tuesday at Lyon Stadium in a UEFA Champions League Group H game. Lyon has lost six of its twelve games in all competitions this season but remain in contention for a spot in the Champions League Round of 16. Juventus sits atop the group with four points after two games. Lyon is in third place with three points from two games.
Lacazette, Lyon’s star striker, has been out since early September due to a knee injury. If he returns quickly to his pre-injury form, Juventus could pay the price.
