Mother Nature extended the Boston Red Sox’s season at least another day. Now it’s win or go home.
Sunday’s Game 3 of the American League Division Series was postponed because of rain, pushing the contest between the Red Sox and Cleveland Indians to Monday.
Boston is in an 0-2 hole in the best-of-five series after dropping Games 1 and 2 in Cleveland. The Red Sox are back at Fenway Park for Game 3, though, where right-hander Clay Buchholz will take the mound opposite Indians right-hander Josh Tomlin in a must-win game for the home team.
