Saturday’s Virginia Tech-North Carolina matchup has the potential to be a barn burner.
The No. 17 Tar Heels (4-1) have had some solid wins, including two close ones against Pitt and Florida State in the last two weeks, but their defense is allowing 458.6 yards per game. On the other side, the No. 25 Hokies’ opponents haven’t been as tough as UNC’s, but they dropped 49 points on Boston College and 54 on East Carolina in their last two games.
UNC could be in trouble if its defense can’t contain Virginia Tech.
