Wild’s Charlie Coyle, Mass. Native, Scores Nifty Goal In Win Vs. Bruins

Charlie Coyle probably grew up rooting for the Boston Bruins. But that didn’t stop him from scoring on them Tuesday night.

The 24-year-old from Weymouth, Mass., squeezed a goal past Bruins starting goaltender Malcolm Subban in Boston’s 5-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild. It started an avalanche for Subban, who promptly gave up two more goals and was pulled from the game.

Coyle’s goal was the subject of Tuesday’s Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind. Check out the tally in the video above.
