Berkshire Bank Hockey Night In New England: Projected Bruins-Rangers Lines, Pairings

The Bruins finally are back in Boston, although that might not be a good thing, based on how well they’ve played away from TD Garden.

The Bruins’ recent four-game road trip didn’t get off to the best of starts, but they rebounded to win three in a row. That one loss, however, was against the New York Rangers, who happen to be the Bruins’ opponent Saturday night.

Boston didn’t have Tuukka Rask in net that night, though, and it likely also will have David Backes back for Saturday’s game after he missed five games following elbow surgery.

The Rangers will look a bit different, too, with Antti Raanta, not Henrik Lundqvist, in net.

Here are the projected lineups for both teams.

BOSTON BRUINS (6-4-0)
Brad Marchand–Patrice Bergeron–David Pastrnak
Ryan Spooner–David Krejci–David Backes
Matt Beleskey–Riley Nash–Austin Czarnik
Tim Schaller–Dominic Moore–Noel Acciari

Zdeno Chara–Brandon Carlo
Torey Krug–Adam McQuaid
John-Michael Liles–Colin Miller

Tuukka Rask

NEW YORK RANGERS (8-3-0)
Jimmy Vesey–Derek Stepan–Rick Nash
Michael Grabner–Kevin Hayes–J.T. Miller
Chris Kreider–Mika Zibanejad–Mats Zuccarello
Pavel Buchnevich–Brandon Pirri–Jesper Fast

Ryan McDonagh–Dan Girardi
Marc Staal–Nick Holden
Brady Skjei–Kevin Klein
