Bill Belichick Actually Did Write Letter To Donald Trump, According To Reports

It turns out Bill Belichick did write a letter to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, after all.

That’s according to reports from CSN New England and WBZ-TV’s Steve Burton, who confirmed Tuesday that Belichick did write a letter to Trump.

At a Monday night rally in the battleground state of New Hampshire, Trump told supporters Belichick sent him a letter of support. Trump claimed his campaign called Belichick asking if he could read the letter, and that Belichick responded by sending a different letter — showing even more support — for Trump to read.

Again, according to Burton, those were Belichick’s words to Trump.

Trump also claimed Patriots quarterback Tom Brady voted for him.

Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, refuted that claim late Monday night.

Belichick and Brady aren’t expected to speak publicly until Wednesday, when both have weekly news conferences at Gillette Stadium ahead of the Patriots’ Week 10 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
