Blake Bortles Has Zero Interest In Tackling Defender To Stop Pick Six

Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t having the best season, and frustration apparently has turned to apathy.

The Jags faced an uphill battle Sunday against the 5-3 Houston Texans, and Bortles dug his squad a hole almost immediately. On Jacksonville’s first drive, Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson jumped the much-maligned quarterback’s outside pass.

As Jackson sprinted down the sideline after the interception, the only man that stood between him and a pick six was Bortles. But maybe the 24-year-old is tired of being bad, because he gave absolutely no effort to try to tackle Jackson.

Incredibly, that was the ninth pick six Bortles has thrown in just two-plus seasons. It also was his seventh interception of the season, and while he’s thrown some pretty brutal picks already, this one has to be near the top of the list.
