Wayne Selden Jr.’s NBA career has yet to take flight, but he’s still throwing down monster dunks.

The Iowa Energy guard and Boston, Mass., native slammed home what has to be the NBA D-League’s dunk of the year Sunday. Selden victimized Fort Wayne Mad Ants big man Rakeem Christmas in a dunk that is going viral.

Selden had a similar dunk in March during the Big 12 tournament when he played for the University of Kansas. That slam drove his uncle Anthony wild with delight. We’re not sure how uncle Anthony reacted to this slam, but any amount of berserk-ness would be acceptable.

Selden is faring well in the D-League and might grab a spot on the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster if he keeps flying over the competition like this. The undrafted rookie is having a nice rookie season, averaging a team-high 19.5 points per game.
