Browns’ Miserable Quarterback History Gets Immortalized On ‘Jeopardy!’

“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek can get snarky, sarcastic and sometimes downright cruel.

Just ask the Cleveland Browns.

The 0-10 Browns are having a rough season, but really, they’ve been having a rough existence. Since returning to Cleveland through NFL expansion in 1999, the Browns have finished last in 13 of 17 seasons, and they are on pace for another last-place finish this year. They’ve played in one wild-card playoff game and lost. And, oh yeah, they’ve shuffled through a whopping 20 quarterbacks.

“Jeopardy!” didn’t want them to forget that last fact.

The poor Browns always will be remembered for their failures, even though they had a winning history before then-owner Art Modell up and moved the franchise to Baltimore in 1996.

But, hey, at least Brady Quinn, who was one of those 20 QBs, got a kick out of it.
