The Boston Bruins couldn’t put much in the net Friday against the Calgary Flames, but it wasn’t for lack of trying.

The B’s fell to the Flames 2-1 at TD Garden, and coach Claude Julien wasn’t too thrilled about his team’s lack of second chances on net. However, Julien did tell NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley after the game that he was pleased with the way the Bruins got back into the game after a slow start.
