Claude Julien ‘Very Pleased’ With Bruins After Their 4-1 Win Over Jets

The Boston Bruins did just about everything well in their 4-1 win Saturday night over the Winnipeg Jets, which made for a very happy coach in the postgame interviews.

“I was very pleased with the team,” coach Claude Julien told NESN’s Andy Brickley and Jack Edwards on “Bruins Overtime Live.” “I thought we had a good first period, but some of the things we needed to do again was get our noses dirtier around the net area a little bit more and find ways to score goals. We got better with that in the second period, and the third period same thing. Just seemed to find our game.

“…We were ready to play them. We know how good they can be, and they’ve been extremely good as of late also.”
