Dexter Fowler started Game 7 of the World Series with a bang.

The Chicago Cubs outfielder belted a leadoff home run to center off Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber to give his team an early 1-0 lead Wednesday night at Progressive Field.

Fowler became the first player to lead off a Game 7 of a World Series with a home run. During the regular season, he hit seven leadoff homers, the fifth-most in baseball.
