Some moments just survive the tests of time and become iconic. Doug Flutie’s Hail Mary pass against Miami is one of them.
And it happened 32 years ago today.
The 45-yard touchdown — which actually traveled over 60 yards in the air — gave Boston College a 47-45 win. The Eagles haven’t completed a pass that long in the past six seasons.
