Either Marcell Dareus’ Instagram Was Hacked Or He Really Hates The Bills

Marcell Dareus has had a pretty rough 2016, both on and off the field. But all of his struggles still can’t explain what popped up on his Instagram account early Wednesday morning.

The Buffalo Bills defensive tackle raised more than a few eyebrows when he appeared to post an expletive-laden rant against his team and head coach Rex Ryan.

“F*** the @Buffalobills I love weed,” the post read. “I Smoke it during the off season. F*** Rex Ryan your the worst coach the bills have ever had. @buffalobills f*** #buffalomafia I got paid and didn’t really play. F*** the @Nfl for accusing me and taking my money. F*** the fans and your kids. Kim f*** you dumb c***. @buffalobills I resign. I don’t wanna play no more. Thanks for the 60 mill #Forbes still. I’m with @gq.”

The shocking post quickly was deleted, and both Dareus and the Bills insisted he was hacked.

We’re usually wary of the classic “I was hacked” excuse, but we’re with Dareus on this one, as no NFL player in his right mind would ever post a message like this.

It’s still an unfortunate incident for the 26-year-old, who has appeared in just two games this season after signing a six-year, $100 million contract with Buffalo in September 2015. Dareus was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the league’s substance abuse policy and entered a rehab facility in August. He then injured his groin in his season debut against the New England Patriots and didn’t return until last Sunday.

On the bright side, though, we’re pretty sure he’s not a Bills-hating maniac.
