FanDuel Week 13 Lineup: Best Player Picks In DFS Fantasy Football
The NFL regular season is nearing its end, but there still is plenty of time to win big through daily fantasy football.
There are a lot of good matchups in Week 13 to maximize your fantasy points, and not all of them come at a heavy cost, either.

Quarterback: Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints ($9,300)
Brees doesn’t come cheap, but he’s worth the splurge this week. The Saints QB is coming off a 310-yard, four-touchdown performance with no interceptions against the Los Angeles Rams, and he should be able to coast in Week 13 against a Detroit Lions defense that’s allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
But if Brees is a little too rich for your liking, his opponent, Matthew Stafford, comes in $1,000 cheaper against a Saints secondary that’s just as bad.
Running Backs: Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears ($7,400); Devontae Booker, Denver Broncos ($6,400)
Howard has been a breakout star this season, and he has a favorable matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, who have the worst rushing defense in the NFL. He compiled 158 yards and a touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12, and the Niners are allowing 171.8 rushing yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry.
Booker has been underachieving, but he’ll get a chance to bounce back against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Jags have given up 13 rushing touchdowns this season, which is tied for fourth-worst in the league.
Wide Receivers: Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($8,500); Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings ($6,500); Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs ($5,800)
Evans is an absolute monster. The Bucs wide receiver caught eight passes on 11 targets for 104 yards and two touchdowns against the Seattle Seahawks’ secondary, so we can only imagine what he’ll do to the San Diego Chargers’ defense. The Bolts have allowed the sixth-most receiving yards per game.
Diggs is returning from a knee injury this Thursday, but he’ll get to ease in against a Dallas Cowboys pass defense that’s not as effective as the rest of the 10-1 team. The ‘Boys allow 280 receiving yards per game, and they have allowed seven receivers to score and five to earn more than 88 yards per game in their last seven games.
Hill had a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown and a kick return touchdown against the Broncos, and he should be able to pick apart an Atlanta Falcons defense that’s giving up 381 yards per game and the 12th-most fantasy points to wide receivers.
Tight End: Travis Kelce, Chiefs ($6,300)
The Falcons are bad against wideouts, and they’re even worse against tight ends. Kelce has put up over 100 yards in each of the past two weeks and should be a threat to score against Atlanta, which is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends.
Kicker: Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens ($5,200)
Can you rely on any kickers not named Justin Tucker this season? The Ravens kicker is perfect on all extra-point and field-goal attempts and is far and away the best kicker in the NFL in 2016. The Miami Dolphins’ defense is pretty tough, so the Ravens could find themselves going for three quite a bit.
Defense: New England Patriots ($4,600)
New England’s defense isn’t very good this season, but Los Angeles’ offense is even worse. L.A. is putting up just 15 points per game and will be in hostile territory at Gillette Stadium.
