Indians Own Longest World Series Drought After Game 7 Loss To Cubs

Not only did the Cleveland Indians blow a 3-1 lead in the World Series, but they’re now the owners of the longest championship drought in baseball.

The Chicago Cubs broke their 108-year World Series drought with an 8-7 win in Game 7 on Wednsday, which means the Indians will be the ones looking to end a span of decades without winning a title. The Tribe last won it all in 1948, so that’s 68 years without a World Series.
