Jamie Collins Gets Burned As Jason Witten Puts Cowboys On Board Vs. Browns

Jamie Collins made Bill Belichick look pretty darn good on his first drive with the Browns.

The New England Patriots traded the Pro Bowl linebacker to Cleveland on Monday, and his first task was to take on the Dallas Cowboys at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday. The Browns opened the scoring, but Dallas put six points on the board with a little less than seven minutes left in the first quarter.

And Collins was partly responsible for the touchdown, as Dallas tight end Jason Witten slipped away from him and reached the end zone.

Of course, that was only one play, but the fact that Collins botched his first drive with the Browns isn’t a great start. Cleveland’s defense wasn’t doing so hot all around, though, as the Cowboys won 35-10.
