The Iron Bowl was far from an instant classic like Michigan-Ohio State was, but it still provided at least one memorable moment.

During top-ranked Alabama’s 30-12 thumping of No. 13 Auburn, Crimson Tide legend Joe Namath visited the CBS broadcast booth to wish Verne Lundquist well before his retirement at the end of the season.

And, of course, a Namath appearance wouldn’t be complete without wearing a fur coat and trying to kiss an announcer.

Namath also tweeted a message for Lundquist before his visit to the broadcast booth.

Never change, Joe. Never change.
