Marc Gasol Channels Conor McGregor, Apologizes To ‘Absolutely No One’

The Conor McGregor craze is sweeping the nation, if Memphis Grizzlies All-Star center Marc Gasol is any indication.

Toward the end of Wednesday’s night’s 111-107 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, Gasol hit a corner 3-pointer to put Memphis ahead by two points with 14.4 seconds remaining in regulation.

Gasol celebrated the big bucket by impersonating Conor McGregor’s swagger-filled, arm-swinging walk when he enters the octagon before fights — a move that emulates WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

But Gasol didn’t stop there. Following the win, he tweeted the video of his celebration with a quote from McGregor during his UFC 205 octagon interview in the moments following a historic victory.

Gasol winning the 11th game of an 82-game slate isn’t nearly as big as McGregor becoming the first simultaneous dual-weight champion in UFC history, but the “Spanish McGregor Walk” was so fantastic that we don’t even care.

Congratulations, Marc. For a day, the Internet belongs to you.
