Detroit Pistons forward Marcus Morris apparently has never heard of the phrase “no easy buckets.”

Morris gave up a bucket to Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook on Monday night by literally not playing any defense as the MVP candidate drove to the rim.

Sure, contesting this dunk might have ended real badly for Morris. You don’t want to be posterized and have the dunk featured in highlight reels for decades. But you have give a little more of an effort than that. Just ask Bismack Biyombo.

Westbrook’s thunderous jam was so powerful, the ball went through the hoop and shot high into the air near the scorer’s table.

Just another day in the life of the NBA’s most electrifying player.
