Ohio State Fans Prep For Michigan Rivalry Game With Red ‘X’ Over Every ‘M’

There’s nothing like a good old-fashioned rivalry game to get the creative juices flowing.

Ohio State and Michigan students usually come up with some unique way of pranking or trolling their opponent every year in the week leading up to their huge rivalry game. This year is no exception, and it appears OSU fans struck first with a clever and easy level of trolling.

It seems the prank is catching on, as even some of the school’s Twitter feeds are crossing out the letter m with the big, red “x” emoji.

Now that’s dedication.

Saturday’s clash really will be between two titans: The Buckeyes are ranked second in the country, while the Wolverines weigh in at No. 3. Both are 10-1, and both are tied with Penn State for first place in the Big 10 standings.

The implications, therefore, are huge: the loser not only loses a spot in the Big 10 championship game (presuming Penn State beats Michigan State), they could lose a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Kickoff for Ohio State vs. Michigan is Saturday at noon ET.
