FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady officially is listed as questionable to play Sunday against the New York Jets.

Brady (knee) is one of six Patriots players listed as questionable, joining tight end Rob Gronkowski (chest), wide receiver Chris Hogan (back), tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle), wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot) and cornerback Cyrus Jones (illness). Wide receiver Matthew Slater is out with a foot injury.

Brady, who reportedly “should be fine” to play against the Jets, was asked Friday before the injury report was released whether he’s going to play.

“We’ll see,” Brady said. “Yeah, we’ll see how it goes.”

It’s unclear when Brady, who missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, suffered the knee injury, though he did take a hard shot to the quad in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. Brady played through that game, wasn’t listed on the Week 11 injury report and then played against the San Francisco 49ers without issue.

“I don’t want to get into it much,” Brady said. “It’s just bumps and bruises like everybody else. It’s a tough time of year. A lot of guys have been going for a long time — a lot longer than me. Everyone is dealing with something. It’s part of football. …

“Just trying to do the most I can to get out there and if I get my shot on Sunday, then I’ll do the best I can do.”

Defensive end Rob Ninkovich missed practice Friday, but his absence wasn’t injury related.
