Real Madrid already has done enough to progress in the Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup), but it can’t turn its attention back to league play and “El Clasico” just yet.
Real Madrid will host Cultural Leonesa on Wednesday in the second leg of their Copa del Rey round of 32 series. Real Madrid beat Cultural Leonesa 7-1 on Oct. 26 in the first leg, and there’s little chance of the third-division club overturning the massive deficit against the Spanish soccer giant.
If Real Madrid avoids defeat against Cultural Leonesa, it will extend its unbeaten streak to 32 games and close in on the club record of 34. But Real Madrid can’t look too far ahead, with a trip to Barcelona on Saturday looming large on its schedule.
