Attention, future NBA free agents: Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal has a message for you.

Shaq, remembered most for his time with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat, finished his career playing for the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics, respectively, in his final three seasons. And his one season with the C’s earned him an invite to The Tradition on Tuesday.

During the event, held at TD Garden by The Sports Museum, “The Big Shamrock” spoke with the media about the C’s, and his answers included a message for pending free agents.

“I still think they’re one or two players away,” Shaq told reporters about the Celtics, via CSNNE.com. “… Hey, free agents, Boston is the (blank). Trust me, it’s a great town.”

The blank is where Shaq purposely started but never finished saying a bad word you probably can guess. But his message is clear — come to Boston, free agents.
