Tom Brady Criticized On Facebook For His (Supposed) Donald Trump Vote

Tom Brady’s apparent support for Donald Trump isn’t sitting well with some folks.

Brady’s Facebook page has received a barrage of comments about his decision to support Trump in the U.S. presidential election. Most of the remarks were negative.

Trump said on Sunday at a campaign event in New Hampshire that Brady had pledged to vote for him.

Brady voted Monday via absentee ballot but vowed not to reveal for whom he voted until after the election. Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, told a fan Monday on Instagram that she and her husband aren’t Trump supporters.

However, many visitors to Brady’s Facebook page simply took Trump at his word and blasted the New England Patriots quarterback, leaving comments on a days’-old post that has nothing to do with his political views.

I can’t believe that you’re voting for (Trump),” one Facebook user wrote. “Is it because he is so politically correct about women, or his experience in dealing with world leaders, your choice makes it impossible for me to cheer for you , guess you don’t care but it hurts me a lot.”

Another commenter wrote: “I am a UM grad and now, former fan…your support of Trump defines you as a supporter of a con man, egomaniac, racist….I’m off your bandwagon and now put you into the same basket as your ass hole fellow Trump head buddy Roger & Bill…You are STUPID!”

This might be why Brady has been coy about his leanings in an election that’s unlike any other.
