EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Tom Brady added yet another achievement to his professional resume during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
An 18-yard completion to Julian Edelman put the New England Patriots quarterback over 60,000 passing yards for his career, making him just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to reach that mark.
Brady went on to complete three more passes during that particular drive, which culminated in a 4-yard touchdown pass to Malcolm Mitchell.
Brady ranks fifth on the all-time passing-yard list behind Dan Marino (61,361), Drew Brees (64,490), Brett Favre (71,838) and Peyton Manning (71,940), and second among active players behind Brees.
