New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be active for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets and he’ll have a full complement of offensive weapons at his disposal.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski (chest) and wide receiver Chris Hogan (back) both will play after sitting out last Sunday’s game, the Patriots announced, as will tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder), who missed practice Thursday, and wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot).

All four players were listed as questionable for the AFC East showdown, as was Brady, who did not practice Wednesday or Thursday as he recovered from a knee injury.

Defensive end Jabaal Sheard also will be active against New York after being inactive for New England’s Week 11 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The Patriots will roll with just four cornerbacks Sunday, as Cyrus Jones (illnes) and Justin Coleman (healthy scratch) both are inactive. One of those four is special teamer Jonathan Jones, who has not played a defensive snap in nine of New England’s 10 games this season.

Joining Jones and Coleman on the inactive list are running back D.J. Foster, tackle LaAdrian Waddle, defensive lineman Woodrow Hamilton, tight end Matt Lengel and special teamer Matthew Slater. Slater suffered a foot injury during last weekend’s game, and the Patriots announced earlier this week he would not play against the Jets.
