The NFL on Wednesday recognized Tom Brady’s latest stellar quarterbacking performance, tabbing him as the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for Week 11.
The New England Patriots signal-caller completed 24 of 40 passes for 280 yards and tied a season high with four touchdown passes in Sunday’s 30-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Brady has thrown 16 touchdown passes and just one interception in six games since returning from his Deflategate suspension. He’s earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors twice this season — the first coming in Week 5 — and 27 times in his career, tying Peyton Manning for the most in NFL history.
Brady can tie another of Manning’s records this weekend. He currently sits at 199 career wins, one shy of Manning’s all-time mark of 200.
The Patriots visit the New York Jets on Sunday.
