If rumors are true, Tristan Thompson simply couldn’t shoulder the weight of his relationship with Khloe Kardashian and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ banter about it.
Thompson has broken up with Kardashian for a reasons we struggle to understand. Citing the significant other of another Cavs player, MediaTakeOut reported Friday that Thompson ended his relationship with the reality television star because he didn’t appreciate the nickname his teammates have given him.
âEveryone was (teasing) Tristan, calling him âKardashianâ in the locker room,â the source told MediaTakeOut.
Thompson’s dislike for the nickname reportedly strained his relationship with Kardashian to the breaking point.
The source added the news isn’t cause for celebration.
âItâs messed up because I think (Tristan) really cared for that girl (Khloe),â she said.
Thompson and Kardashian attended LeBron James’ Halloween party together last month, and things seemed good between them. What happened since then is anyone’s guess.
For now, we only can assume teasing is one “T” too many for Thompson. Poor Khloe.
