You can help wounded military members and veterans by buying yourself new swag. Seriously.

This November, teams throughout the sports world will pay homage to our veterans, fallen and active military members, and their families. From colleges to the pros, hockey arenas to football stadiums, athletes will don camouflage prints and show their appreciation for the men and women who defend our freedom. You, too, can pay tribute and support the recovery of wounded service members and veterans while showing your team pride by taking part in Operation Hat Trick.

On “Between the Tackles,” Operation Hat Trick founder Dot Sheehan joined NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava to talk about how OHT, in partnership with ’47, is making a difference in the lives of service members and veterans recovering from visible and invisible injuries of war.

Watch the video above to learn more about how you can help by buying a hat.
