It’s not exactly “Game of the Century” big this time, but Saturday’s SEC showdown between Alabama and LSU still has plenty riding on it.
The Crimson Tide have a clear path toward making the College Football Playoff after being slotted No. 1 in the first rankings this past week, but that all could easily fall apart with a loss Saturday night at Tiger Stadium against No. 13 LSU.
And let’s hope there are no ugly incidents in the game like there were Friday night at “Death Valley.”
