The Boston Celtics have the chance to kill two birds with one stone Wednesday night in the Big Apple.
The Celtics are 2-0 since the returns of Al Horford and Jae Crowder, and will look to make it three in a row at the Barclays Center against the Brooklyn Nets. A win over the 4-9 Nets also would help Boston’s future prospects, as the C’s own the rights to Brooklyn’s first-round pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
The Celtics narrowly escaped with a 122-117 win over the Nets in their season opener, but Brooklyn enters Wednesday having lost four straight.
