Whether it was the officiating or his Los Angeles Clippers blowing a lead to one of the NBA’s worst teams, something made Doc Rivers absolutely lose his mind Tuesday night against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Clippers head coach had a conversation with referee Ken Mauer late in overtime and then lost it. Rivers had to be restrained by both players and coaches as he screamed at Mauer.
Rivers was ejected from the game and his Clippers eventually lost 127-122 in double overtime. On the bright side, L.A. still is tied for the most wins in the league with 14.
