NHL enforcers probably should think twice about fighting Wayne Simmonds.
The Philadelphia Flyers forward needed just one mighty punch to win a fight against Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson on Tuesday. When the two squared up in the second period, many hoped for a proper rumble, but Simmons instead simply floored Ericsson.
Ericsson lost the fight but won the battle, however. The Red Wings defeated the Flyers 3-2 in a shootout.
