“Like father, like son” is the hopeful wish of Real Madrid fans right now.

Enzo Zidane, son of the legendary soccer player and current Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane, scored a goal Wednesday in his debut with the club’s first-team. Enzo entered the game as a halftime substitute and needed just 18 minutes to score a goal he and his family will never forget.

Real Madrid won the game 6-1 and advanced to the Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup) round of 16.

Enzo Zidane, 21, joined Real Madrid’s youth academy in 2004. His senior debut with the club was eight-plus years in the making. Enzo’s younger brothers Luca, Theo and Elyaz also play in Real Madrid’s youth academy.

Zinedine Zidane must be very proud. And fans are excited Enzo might one day become as good a player as his dad.

We have some advice for now: pump the breaks.
