The college football bowl season is here.

Each bowl game and their sponsor are allowed to give the players participating in the game an assortment of gifts that cannot exceed $550. These gifts range from mini-football helmets to Best Buy gift cards and everything in between.

So, before the games get underway on Saturday, it’s time to look at which bowl games gave the players participating in their game the best and worst gifts.

The Best
1. Life-sized Fathead decal of each player’s likeness: Who doesn’t want a life-size wall decal of themselves? Boston College and Maryland strike gold with the Quick Lanes Bowl.

2. Bobblehead with player’s face, name, and uniform number: Anytime you can get a bobblehead of yourself that’s a win. Georgia Tech and Kentucky lucked out with the TaxSlayer Bowl’s gift allotment.

3. Inflatable “big lazy” couch: The Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl might not be a well-known bowl, but if they keep giving out inflatable furniture it could soon turn into a destination bowl.

4. Powerbeats2 headphones: Another score for the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl.

5. Apple Watch: Colorado and Oklahoma State both fell flat in their final regular-season game, but this isn’t a bad consolation prize from the Valero Alamo Bowl.

The Worst
1. Belt Buckle: An AdvoCare V100 Bowl belt buckle doesn’t exactly get the blood flowing quite like an inflatable couch.

2. Beach Towel: I see what the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl was getting at, but it’s still nowhere near a top-tier bowl gift.

3. “Other Items”: Memphis and Western Kentucky get this for heading to the Marmot Boca Raton Bowl. I guess the trip to Boca is their gift.
