Bryce Harper Married Longtime Girlfriend Kayla Varner in San Diego

Washington Nationals star outfielder Bryce Harper got hitched over the weekend.

Harper and longtime girlfriend Kayla Varner wed at the iconic LDS Temple in San Diego on Dec. 17. The 2015 National League Most Valuable Player shared a photo from the wedding on his Instagram, as did the bride and official wedding photographer.

Bryce and Kaylas wedding was full of pretty rain, gut-busting-nose-crinkling laughs, and lots of happy tears. So dang happy for these two! @bharper3407 @kayyvarner

The two were high school sweethearts, who called off their previous engagement back in 2015. After a brief period of silence, Varner announced that the two were once again engaged with a photo at the 2016 ESPY’s.

According to TalkNats.com, teammates Jayson Werth and Trea Turner, as well as GM Mike Rizzo were in attendance at the post-nuptial celebration.

Perhaps Rizzo tried to discuss Harper’s next contract in between wedding toasts.
