Just when you think you’ve seen it all in the boxing world, someone has to go and throw a table.
We take you to a Manchester, England, hotel, which hosted a press conference Wednesday for Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte.
The British boxers, set to fight Saturday in a heavyweight-title bout, apparently don’t like each other. That became evident when Chisora abruptly stood up and hurled an entire table in Whyte’s direction.

No one was hurt, but Chisora’s antics unsurprisingly sent the room into chaos, with both boxers cursing each other as they were restrained.
The bizarre incident was shocking, to say the least, but not everyone was convinced it was sincere. British boxer Anthony Joshua called out Chisora for staging the whole table-throwing scene.
“People like entertainment and people like boxing so I think we’re covering the full package — both the WWE part and the old-school fighting part,” Joshua said, via ESPN.com.
Chisora’s furniture shenanigans also could have consequences. According to ESPN, British Boxing Board of Control held an emergency meeting Thursday to discuss punishments for both boxers and possibly canceling the fight entirely.
Don’t throw tables at people, kids.
